Xbox 360 Fetches Over $10,000 in Ebay Auction

$10,600 for an Xbox 360? It sounds outrageous but an Xbox 360 auction on eBay has closed with a winning bid of $10,600.00. A current Xbox 360 search on eBay shows multiple Xbox 360 bids over $1,000 and many bids of $800 plus. The Xbox 360 units being sold it stores cost $300 or $400 depending on whether it can play older Xbox games or not. Amazon.com's Xbox 360 listing shows "out of stock" and shortages had been expected. GamersGame.com reports that stores have already sold out of the Xbox 360. This is the reason the bids are climbing on eBay. The prices should come down once new Xbox 360 shipments arrive in stores. Silicon Valley Sleuth has some tips for people trying to sell an Xbox 360 on eBay.
